July 28, 2019 - Lunch Flight to Sky Bryce, Virginia

This Sunday the Hangar Row A Flyers were headed towards Sky Bryce, Virginia.  We were taking the southern way around the dreaded SFRA, stopping at St. Mary's Airport.

Here is a good shot of Rich and Nhu-An in their colorful Decathelon.

They took some pics of me.

We stopped at St. Mary's Airport.  Some picked up passengers, some got gas.  Now we're all in line ready to take off.

Looking back at the conga line.

Chuck B. in his new ride: a very nice C172.

Following three high-wings into Sky Bryce.

The three of them landed at Sky Bryce while I flew around in the pattern.

A good look at the Sky Bryce resort which has all sorts of things to do:  mountain biking, golf, tennis, etc.

Safe on deck.

Here comes Chuck B.

I had my camera on the rapid fire setting.

Nicely done!

Lunch at the Sky Bryce resort.  With a couple of planes from Clearview, we had a total of seven airplanes and too many people to count.

Back at the ramp after a delicious lunch.

We all kind of went our different ways leaving Sky Bryce.  Some went back to St. Mary's.  Tom and I went around the northern side.  Tom hadn't seen the Baltimore Ravens practice facility so I showed him the super-secret location.

So basically I made a big circle around Washington D.C. today.
